The primary goal of this project was to practice creating photorealistic textures and lighting, and to explore MIA shaders in Maya.


I got really interested in this CGsociety thread about rendering coffee. Intrigued, I used this as an opportunity to test out mia materials in Maya. Here is a screenshot of the scene without shaders and lighting:
